ATLAS-gruppen uppkom som ett samarbete mellan två projektgrupper, EAGLE och ASCOT, efter en vetenskaplig workshop i mars 1992. ATLAS Open Data aims to deliver High Energy Physics (HEP) real and simulated data that can be explored on the browser or computer.
